Methodist Mansfield Medical Center and Crown Golf present the Players of the Year to recognize the area’s top high school student athletes for their athletic performance, academic achievement and exemplary character and integrity.

One athlete is chosen in each of the following sports:

• Baseball
• Basketball - Female and Male
• Cross Country - Female and Male
• Football
• Golf - Female and Male
• Soccer - Female and Male
• Softball
• Swimming & Diving - Female and Male
• Team Tennis - Female and Male
• Tennis - Female and Male
• Track & Field - Female and Male
• Volleyball
• Wrestling - Female and Male

The Methodist Mansfield Medical Center and Crown Golf Selection Committee administers the selection process for the Player of the Year Awards. All final selections result from a collaborative effort and are made by the Methodist Mansfield Medical Center and Crown Golf Player of the Year Selection Committee.
